Manchester United supporters have been appalled by the club's ownership for the past 17 years. We have seen declines in our stadium and on the playing side over that time. Up until recently, there had also been no formal dialogue with fan groups.
While advocates have long urged for change, it must be the correct change, of course.
Our club needs new investment more than ever right now. That demands brand-new ownership. Any potential new owner or investor must be dedicated to the club's ethos, culture, and best practises.
To return United to its previous glory, they must be willing to invest, and that investment must be genuine fresh money spent on the playing staff.
